pstrongDescription/strong/p pThe Personal Banker is responsible for generating business and deepening relationships by promoting products and services to potential and existing customers. Responsibilities include providing high quality customer service while achieving sales goals and supporting banking center staff as needed./p pDuties will include, but are not limited to, the following:/p ul liGreet customers and facilitate a welcoming and customer- focused environment/li liProvide extraordinary customer service while achieving goals and supporting the banking center staff as needed/li liBuild and maintain relationships with customers to help identify financial products and services that meet their needs/li liPromote financial products and services/li liOpen deposit accounts and take loan applications, process consumer loan/credit line requests for customers/li liProcess customer transactions efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a balanced cash drawer and adhering to internal controls and procedures/li liGenerate new business and expand relationships with current customers through networking and Centers of Influence/li liRespond to customer inquiries and concerns and create positive solutions/li liSupport other employees as needed/li /ul pstrongRequired Skills:/strong/p ul liMinimum of one year successful sales experience in an incentive-driven or relational selling environment; demonstrated performance in meeting and exceeding goals/li liMinimum of 6 months of cash handling experience in a retail sales environment/li liAbility to generate referrals including making on-site visits with local businesses/li liAbility to work effectively as a team member and with customers./li liStrong work ethic and high integrity/li liProficient with all Microsoft applications (Word, Outlook, Excel etc.)/li liFriendly, outgoing, assertive, confident, and enthusiastic personality/li liMust have a current Notary or be willing to become one (pursue application, bond and notary seal) at the Bank’s expense/li /ul pstrongPreferred Skills:/strong/p ul liSuccessful sales record in a retail banking environment; with knowledge of bank services and products./li liBilingual (fluent verbal and written Spanish) skills/li /ul pSalary Range:  $25.00 - $30.00 per hour.  Compensation is aligned to experience and skills.
