Job Summary: The Electronic Assembler is responsible for assembling electronic components, subassemblies, products, or systems while adhering to quality standards and IPC J-STD-001 certification requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience in soldering, component placement, and a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble electronic components and products according to specifications and schematics.
Perform soldering tasks in compliance with IPC J-STD-001 standards.
Inspect and test assembled products to ensure they meet quality and performance standards.
Identify and troubleshoot defects or issues in assemblies.
Use hand tools and machinery to assemble parts and products.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Follow safety guidelines and protocols.
Document assembly processes and maintain accurate records of work performed.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure timely completion of projects.
Continuously improve assembly techniques and processes for efficiency and quality.
Qualifications:
IPC J-STD-001 certification is required.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience as an electronic assembler or similar role.
Proficient in soldering and working with electronic components.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions.
Strong attention to detail and precision in work.
Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues.
Good communication skills.
Physical Requirements:
