Rooftop Bartender - Full-time / Part-time

divpBartenders are responsible for positive Guest interactions while serving Guests in a friendly and efficient manner. Bartenders play an integral role in ensuring our Guests have exceptional dining experiences. At all times, Bartenders are expected to be attentive to our Guests’ needs, making them feel welcome, comfortable, important, and relaxed./ppThe right person will be passionate about food, beverage, and service and thoroughly enjoy creating excellent experiences for our Guests. The ideal candidate will have a friendly, outgoing disposition and previous experience working as a Bartender in a bustling, fast-paced restaurant setting. Bartender shifts may include breakfast, lunch, or dinner and will include weekends and holidays./ppbResponsibilities:/b/pullipPrepare bar for service by stocking all necessary fruits, juices, spirits, bitters, etc./p/lilipPreparing alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages for dining room and bar Guests/p/lilipHelp patrons select food and beverages by presenting menu offering, offering beverages, suggesting courses, explaining any additions to the menu, identifying appropriate beverage pairings, answering allergy/dietary restriction, and food preparation and sourcing questions./p/lilipInform Guests of basic information about offerings at the restaurant or other bar-lab venues on property and/or locally/p/lilipProtect establishment and patrons by adhering to all bar-lab policies and procedures, sanitation standards, safety and alcohol control policies/p/lilipStay updated on current menu choices, menu additions, available menu modifications, and any unavailable items/p/lilipTransmit orders to bar and kitchen by recording patrons' choices and ringing appropriate items into POS; identifying patrons' dietary needs and special requests and any other necessary identifier/p/lilipFire courses according to kitchen and Guest needs/p/lilipEnsure Guests orders make it to them in a timely manner, properly made, and with the correct accompaniments/p/lilipRespond to additional Guest requests; involving a manager for unusual or difficult requests/p/lilipMaintain bar by removing courses as completed, replenishing utensils, refilling water glasses, being alert to patron spills and/or other special needs/p/lilipProperly describe, open, and pour beverages/p/lilipCorrectly obtain payment by totaling charges, issuing bill, tendering payment, returning change or credit card and signature slip to guest/p/lilipRetrieving signed credit card or room charge slip prior to Guest departure and thanking them for their visit/p/lilipContribute to team effort by assisting other staff as time allows/p/lilipPerform basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by manager/p/lilipFill in for absent staff as needed/p/lilipAssist with special events as needed/p/lilipAdhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently/p/lilipPromptly address Guest service issues and refer to management when necessary/p/lilipAdditional requests made by management to maintain flow of service, Guest experience, and/or restaurant cleanliness/p/li/ulpbr/ppbQualifications:/b/pullipPrevious bartending experience is required/p/lilipExcellent verbal communication skills required/p/lilipPositive interpersonal skills required/p/lilipMust speak English fluently /p/lilipPhysically able to carry 35 pounds; able to stand, bend, and move throughout shift/p/lilipWorks well as part of a team and on individual tasks/p/lilipWorks well and efficiently under pressure/p/lilipGood interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of staff and management                                                                                   bBartender top skills amp; proficiencies:/b/p/li/ulullipDedication to Guest experience/p/lilipKnowledge of Food and Beverage/p/lilipVerbal Communication/p/lilipHigh Energy/p/lilipAttention to Detail/p/lilipMultitasking/p/lilipFlexibility/p/li/ulullipBasic Math/p/lilipCustomer Service/p/lilipTeamwork/p/lilipPersistence/p/lilipEnergy Level/p/lilipThoroughness/p/lilipProfessionalism/p/lilipCleanliness – personal and spatial/p/li/ulpbrbr/p/div
