This is a great opportunity to develop your career within a Global TIC business./p p /p pSalary: $23- $26/hr DOE + $3.00 shift differential /p p /p p/p h2Responsibilities/h2 ul liInterpretation of internal and client requirements/li liSupervising allocated staff and being responsible for the day to day management of the relevant discipline/li liOperating complex mechanical testing equipment/li liMaintaining accurate and systematic records/li liPerforming other duties to fulfil the demands of the laboratory/li liPerforming general duties in accordance with Element's internal procedures, quality as well as Health and Safety system/li liApplication of instrumentation and the setting up of complex data capture equipment/li liReport writing, data interpretation and analysis/li /ul h2Skills / Qualifications/h2 p /p ul liEducated to a good general standard including English and Maths/li liDegree level or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or another relevant materials related discipline/li liHands-on job/li liSound mechanical bias/li liPrevious experience in an appropriate Engineering environment is a distinct advantage/li liExperience of working within a Mechanical testing environment is advantageous/li liAn understanding of a recognised Quality Management Systems such as ISO 17025 is beneficial/li liSelf motivated Technician with the ability to multi task, organise and work under the pressure of a busy commercial mechanical test laboratory/li liExcellent attention to detail/li liStrong written and verbal communication skills/li liA team player attitude/li liExcellent analytical and problem solving skills/li /ul h2Diversity Statement/h2 pAt Element, we always take pride in putting our people first.
