From heavy highways and multi-span bridges to traffic signal improvements, marine work, and water/wastewater infrastructure, we’re committed to achieving the highest standards of safety, quality, and innovation.br /br //pp style="margin: 0px;"emJoin a team that’s redefining construction engineering where your leadership, technical skill, and commitment to precision will help shape communities across New Jersey and beyond./em/p Responsibilities: ulliLead inspectors or act as solo inspector for the construction inspection of bridge and/or highway projects including measuring and calculating quantities./liliDocument work with daily work reports, photos, and sketches./liliOversee and coordinate documentation of construction inspection including pay estimates, change orders, daily work reports, quantity checking, meeting minutes, material certifications, etc./liliEnsure work is completed in accordance with NJDOT or other Agency specifications./liliApply project plans along with company policies, guidelines, standards, and specifications to the work and implement independent decision making to progress the project. /liliMaintain project documentation and communicate with individuals at all levels of the project./liliCoordinate activities on the project site and resolve problems related to the work./liliLead other construction inspectors; providing coaching, mentoring, and direction as needed./li/ul Qualifications: ulliHigh school diploma/GED required. /lili style="color: black;"span style="font-size: 9.0pt; font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif;"10+ years of construction engineering/inspection experience required./span/lilispan style="font-size: 9.0pt; font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif;"Valid US Driver's License required./span/lili style="color: black;"span style="font-size: 9.0pt; font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif;"PE (Professional Engineer) license preferred./span/lili style="color: black;"span style="font-size: 9.0pt; font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif;"NICET Certification III/IV or NJDOT equivalent preferred./span/lili style="color: black;"span style="font-size: 9.0pt; font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif;"Prior experience with NJDOT and municipal clients preferred./span/lili style="color: black;"span style="font-size: 9.0pt; font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif;"Leadership skills, decision making, and attention to detail./span/liliAbility and willingness to work outdoors on a project site for extended period of time./liliAbility to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions./li/ulp style="margin: 0px;"Compensation: $50.33 to $71.33 per hour (depending on qualifications)/p What We Offer: p style="margin: 0in;"span style="font-size: 9.0pt; font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif;"At Colliers Engineering Design, our people are our most important resource.
