Event Custodian - Part-time

pbPOSITION: Part-Time Custodian    /b/ppbDEPARTMENT: Event Services/b/ppbREPORTS TO: Housekeeping Manager/b/pp/ppbSummary/b/ppspanASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities/span has an excellent and immediate opening for a Part-Time Custodian at the Sames Auto Arena. The Part-Time Custodian is responsible for performing the following duties:/pp/ppbEssential Duties and Responsibilities/b/ppInclude the following:/pp/ppMaintain the cleanliness of all types of flooring throughout facility./ppEnsure that all areas remain free of trash./ppRestrooms, dressing and locker rooms are well maintained, and tile surfaces are dry and clean./ppMaintain all glass, steel, and office surfaces through dusting, cleaning and polishing./ppResponsible for the proper storage of facility event equipment when not in use. Ensures all emergency pathways are kept free and clear of obstructions. Responsible for keeping housekeeping equipment and tools in working condition and notifying supervisor of any broken parts./ppEnsures all equipment and supplies are cleaned and returned to their proper place when finished with them./ppCompletes daily checklist to ensure the cleanliness and safety of our patrons attending each event./ppAssists clients with requests during events./ppDemonstrates continuous effort to improve housekeeping operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to meet customer expectations./ppAbility to work effectively as a team and with other building departments. Performs other duties as assigned by Operations Management./ppOther duties may be assigned./pp/pp/ppbKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES/b/ppExcellent communication and organizational skills. Professional presentation, appearance and work ethic. Ability to lift at least 25 pounds. Knowledge of chemicals and equipment used for cleaning.
