p** $200 Signing Bonus after 90-Days of Employment Completed **  /ppbr //ppbr //ppstrongESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  /strong/pulli Examines, tests, diagnoses, and administers treatments for patients with speech and language  disorders, and oral motor disorders.  /liliPerforms evaluations with particular attention to receptive and expressive language skills, speech  fluency, vocal and oral motor competence, articulation, and auditory skills.  /lili Maintains communication with patient and others concerned regarding progress, problems, home  programs, and other issues related to the therapeutic process.  /liliDevelops, implements, and evaluates therapeutic speech and language development programs and  services.  /liliProvides speech articulation therapy and works with patients to develop language skills as  appropriate  /liliFacilitates behavior management in patients and families as appropriate to the needs of the  patient: teaches parenting skills as required.  /liliMaintains record of work performed.  /lili Maintains equipment and supplies used as part of the therapeutic process.  /liliPractices safety, environmental, and/or infection control methods.  /liliPerforms miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.    /li/ulpstrongQUALIFICATIONS  /strong/pp To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential  functions. Must possess the ability to handle confidential information and act as the BrightStar  spokesperson. Must also possess the ability to respond appropriately in an objective manner in all  situations. Effectively communicate medical information, test results, diagnoses and/or proposed  treatment in a manner easily understood by the client. Requires knowledge of anatomy, physiology and/or  kinesiology. Also must have the ability to evaluate and treat speech, language and hearing disorders. Must  also have knowledge of relevant diagnostic tests and procedures. Must have the ability to demonstrate  solid judgment and discretion. Must also demonstrate a sense of understanding and urgency for priorities.  Will require the ability to appropriately troubleshoot and escalate where necessary, problems/issues to the  appropriate individual.
