Responsibilities include:lt;/divgt;lt;ulgt; lt;ligt;In-school: teaching and student performanceslt;/ligt; lt;ligt;Out-of-School: parent communication, lesson planning, scheduling, progress reporting, supplementary virtual learninglt;/ligt; lt;ligt;Promoting the program and driving enrollment at partner school events throughout the year, particularly during registration in Aug/Septlt;/ligt; lt;ligt;Participating in professional development opportunities through collaboration with senior resident Faculty Members and stafflt;/ligt; lt;/ulgt;lt;divgt;lt;stronggt;The Ideal Candidate:lt;/stronggt;lt;/divgt;lt;ulgt; lt;ligt;Has at least 1-2 years of teaching experience, either in music classes OR a traditional classroom settinglt;/ligt; lt;ligt;Is able or willing to teach more than one instrument at a beginning level, or ideally all threelt;/ligt; lt;ligt;Has a strong interest in working with a wide range of students, especially beginning level students (including 3-5 y/o)lt;/ligt; lt;ligt;Is passionate about having a direct impact on the primary education system in this countrylt;/ligt; lt;ligt;Is comfortable teaching students in small groups of 3-4 studentslt;/ligt; lt;ligt;Has the ability to be flexible and creative in teaching style with an open mind, so they can take parents and students “where they#39;re at” in terms of interest and commitmentlt;/ligt; lt;ligt;Takes initiative and is confident working independently to represent the organization at our partner schoolslt;/ligt; lt;ligt;Has experience with leadership or project managementlt;/ligt; lt;ligt;Is able to work closely with an office staff in administration and professional development lt;/ligt; lt;ligt;Is reliable, organized, and timelylt;/ligt; lt;ligt;Is friendly in written and verbal communicationlt;/ligt; lt;ligt;Is comfortable working daily in email, messaging, company databases, digital timekeeping, and other online resources to manage activitieslt;/ligt; lt;ligt;Owns a car to commute to/from our partner schoolslt;/ligt; lt;/ulgt; lt;/divgt;
