We are currently recruiting for Maintenance Generalist/pstrongJob Description:/strongpThe Maintenance Technician safely operates and performs a variety of maintenance activities including corrective maintenance (CM), preventative maintenance (PM), and predictive maintenance (PdM) for various computer/PLC controlled production equipment including but not limited to Scales, Dumpers, Mixers, Cookers, Chillers, Slicers, Tray Formers, Case Formers, Conveyors, Robots, Palletizers, Pallet Wrappers and ancillary compressed air, water, steam, gas, electrical, pumping and controls systems. Must be able to safely apply knowledge and troubleshooting skills to all assigned production equipment#xa0;and#xa0;the ability to effectively interact with all plant personnel to#xa0;accomplish#xa0;plant and individual goals.#xa0;/pp#xa0;#xa0;/pullipPerform daily, weekly, monthly, semi-annual, and annual maintenance plans and activities in a safe,#xa0;proper#xa0;and#xa0;timely#xa0;manner while#xa0; constantly#xa0;maintaining#xa0;a high level#xa0;of craftsmanship.#xa0;Assist#xa0;in training of other plant personnel.#xa0;/p/lilipUtilize the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to assist in the development and the execution and follow-up on maintenance activities including but not limited to inspections, calibrations, repairs and rebuilds.#xa0;/p/li/ulullipComplete all required documentation accurately and#xa0;in a timely manner.#xa0;/p/lilipUse and#xa0;maintain#xa0;all tools properly.#xa0;/p/lilipWith#xa0;assistance#xa0;develop ability to#xa0;provide#xa0;corrective actions to all levels of equipment/system failures#xa0;utilizing#xa0;root cause analysis and troubleshooting techniques.#xa0;/p/lilipWith#xa0;assistance#xa0;demonstrate#xa0;ability#xa0;to#xa0;utilize#xa0;advanced maintenance techniques and tools such as thermo-graphic, ultrasonic and vibration analysis to assess the health of production equipment and predict failures before they occur.#xa0;/p/lilipRepair,#xa0;modification#xa0;and improvement of assigned production equipment with precision maintenance#xa0;techniques#xa0;as necessary.#xa0;/p/li/ulullipParticipate on the Kansas City TPM Project teams as needed.#xa0;/p/lilipIdentify#xa0;and/or#xa0;corrects#xa0;potentially hazardous conditions.#xa0;/p/lilipAbility to safely#xa0;operate#xa0;a forklift.#xa0;/p/lilipSafely perform work, including adherence to#xa0;policies such as lock-out-tag-out (LOTO), hot work permit and confined space entry.#xa0;/p/lilipWorks closely with Maintenance Supervisors and Maintenance Planners to develop opportunities for continuous improvement.#xa0;/p/li/ulullipAssist#xa0;in the development of individual performance#xa0;objectives.#xa0;/p/lilipWork cooperatively in a maintenance culture that is focused on continuous improvement (LEAN), positive morale and exceptional levels of customer service.#xa0;/p/lilipUnderstand and#xa0;comply with#xa0;all applicable#xa0;and governing agency policies by which we manage our business.#xa0;/p/lilipPerform other duties as assigned by supervisor.#xa0;/p/li/ulpstrong#xa0;#xa0;/strong/pstrongQualifications:/strongullipMust have a#xa0;minimum of 1 year of maintenance work experience#xa0;of mechanic work experience (can be a combination of employers) or a graduate of an industrial maintenance training program./p/li/ulstrongAdditional Information:/strongpPay Range -$23.00- $33.00./ppAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines./p
