The individual strands are threaded through tension bars and feed rollers onto a winder for packaging. Once the packages are full, the Slit Film Operator removes them off the winders and or conveyor belt and loads them on doffing racks./p pstrongEssential Duties Responsibilities: /strong /p ul liResponsible for all aspects of Slit Film production, including: setting up the winder with empty cores, operating the machine, monitoring product for quality and maintaining all equipment in top condition/li liPerform necessary pre-operation activities to ensure proper equipment start-up, operation and reduced downtime/li liLoad empty tubes on to winders or in to tube magazines. /li liThread film material over tension bars, between feed rollers and slitter blades/li liThread slitted material (ends) onto winder for packaging/li liDoff finished packages according to specifications to assure the finished product meets all standards/li liInspect and eliminate waste/li liPrepare required production paperwork/li liWork in a team environment/li liMaintain and keep the work area clean and organized/li liReport all defects and damages to the supervisor/li /ul pstrongPerformance Expectations (if applicable):/strong/p ul liManufacturing and/or machine operation experience preferred/li liLifting, reaching, standing, stooping and bending is required throughout the shift/li liMust be able to lift 50 lbs./li liMust be able to distinguish colors and shades/li liMust be able to use scissors and a utility knife /li liMust be able to read, write and speak English/li liMust be able to perform basic math calculations/li /ul pstrongExperience/Education Requirements:/strong/p ul liHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred./li liMust be able to read and write and do basic addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication./li liComputer knowledge or data entry skills are a necessary part of the job./li /ul pstrongOther Requirements:/strong/p ul liOvertime is required on occasion./li liMust be capable of functioning without direct supervision./li liPerform any other duties as assigned./li liAll accidents must be reported immediately./li /ul /div divdiva href="https://apply.hrmdirect.com/resumedirect/ApplyOnline/Apply.aspx?req_id=3093290source=3093290-CJB-0"START YOUR APPLICATION/a/divdiv/div/div /div divp /p div /div/div divp /p div /div/divdiv br /a href="https://engineeredfloors.com/"Visit Our Home Page/a /divp© 2025 Engineered Floors, LLC/p p a href="https://www.clearcompany.com" iApplicant Tracking System Powered by/i  /a /p /div
