This individual must have a minimal knowledge and understanding of facilities including maintenance and energy management.nbsp;/ppPerforms routine repair and maintenance on structures and equipment in assigned areas. Performs minor repairs from verbal or written requests. Assists other facility personnel as required by workload or emergency situations, including inclement weather conditions and follows all standards and prescribed safety regulations, including responding to emergency calls.nbsp;/ppstronguSpecific Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities/u/strongnbsp;/ppThe individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.nbsp;/pol start="1" type="1"liPossesses competent knowledge of the use and care of tools and equipment used in facility and grounds maintenance.nbsp;/liliKnowledge of housekeeping, janitorial duties, and garbage/snow removal.nbsp;/liliWorking knowledge of basic hand tools and other equipment.nbsp;/liliConsiderable knowledge of OSHA standards and application for working with chemicals.nbsp;/liliAbility to lift, grasp, and/or carry supplies or equipment weighing up to 75 lbs.nbsp;/liliAbility to climb stairs and ladders and work at heights up to approximately 25 feet.nbsp;/liliMaintain inventory of supplies needed to perform job function.nbsp;/liliReport major deficiencies and items which cannot be readily repaired, to the direct Supervisor.nbsp;/liliClean designated building areas (which includes but not limited to sweeping, mopping, dusting vacuuming and wiping down common areas thru-out shift)./liliResponsible for high traffic areas including Main entrance, elevators, stairwells and Lobby areasnbsp;/liliResponsible for sanitizing and disinfecting of rest rooms, conference rooms and family meeting areas thru out the shift./liliResponsible for garbage (Including recyclable, ensuring that garbage is placed out on appropriate days)/liliResponsible for the maintenance of the outside of the building areas as needed./li/olpstronguSupportive Functions/u/strongnbsp;/ppIn addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the Supervisor based upon the particular requirements of the company.nbsp;/pol start="1" type="1"liMonitor and maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned work areas.nbsp;/liliAttendance and participation in scheduled meetings.
