Server Assistant - Full-time / Part-time

pstrongPrimary Responsibilities:/strong /p pbr //p pProvides assistance to the service, bartending and host/hostess staff to help maintain the smooth operation of guest service in the restaurant./p pbr //p pstrongSpecific Functions and Duties:/strong/p pbr //p p1. Busses tables and provides assistance to servers with guest needs./p p2. Interacts with all guests creating a friendly and upbeat atmosphere./p p3. Carries food and drinks to all areas of the restaurant throughout the entire shift./p p4. Provides refills of beverages to guest./p p5. Checks and ensures the overall cleanliness of the restrooms on a regular basis./p p6. Restock service items for bartenders, i.e., glasses, bar garnishes, ice, and beer./p p7. Restock service items for servers, i.e., glasses, ice, plates, rolling silverware./p p8. Empties trash cans when needed./p p9. Complete assigned cleaning duties./p pbr //p pstrongQualification Standards:/strong/p pbr //p p1. Reading, writing and verbal communication skills required./p p2. Mobility required during the entire shift./p p3. Transports and carries objects up to 15 pounds on a regular basis./p p4. Ability to wipe down table tops, table legs, pick up debris off the floor and wipe down booth seats in all areas of the restaurant./p p5. Must possess and/or obtain a valid Food Handlers Card prior to employment./p p6. In Oregon must possess and/or obtain a valid OLCC Card to serve alcohol within 30 days of employment./p p7. Must be 18 years of age to work evening shift./p pbr //p pstrongPhysical Requirements:/strong/p pbr //p p1. Must be able to stand and exert a well-paced mobility for periods up to four hours in length./p p2. Must be able to speak clearly and listen attentively to guests and other staff members./p p3.
