Youth Development Coach - Head Coach

pAt Youth Athletes United our mission is to Empower children through sport by teaching them how to have fun while learning the fundamentals of the sport./ppWe are looking for youth development coaches to join our Little Rookies Baseball program. We believe in the power of baseball to positively impact children and support their physical and personal development. Beyond establishing a foundation for proper baseball techniques, our program is designed to help children build self-confidence, embrace teamwork, develop sportsmanship and learn the importance of physical activity, all while having fun!/ppbr/ppstrongLead Coaches earn $40 Per Session! /strong/ppiCandidates are recommended to be fully vaccinated upon commencing employment, subject to legally required exemptions. Legal exemptions include but are not limited to, medical condition, disability or sincerely-held religious belief; some regions may require full vaccination upon hiring due to state-specific mandates. Proof of vaccination in those states will be required and will be requested in the other regions./ibr/ppbr/ppFITNESS amp; CHILD DEVELOPMENT/ppemFitness/em/ppWe shape future athletes by building athletic skills and teaching them the importance of physical fitness./ppemPhysical/em/ppWe encourage physical activity through agility, coordination, and balance./ppemSocial/em/ppWe empower social development through teamwork, cooperation, and leadership./ppemEmotional/em/ppWe support emotional development by building confidence through optimism and encouragement./ppemMental/em/ppWe teach Baseball IQ through game-like drills focused on competition, patience, and perseverance./ppOur Classes:/pul li8 Week Season - Introductory baseball training program, 45 min. - 1 hr practice/division for 8 consecutive weeks. Weekend availability REQUIRED./li liCamps - 1-day and 2-day baseball skills training camp, 3 hr class designed for Saturday and Sunday/li liPre-school Program - Introductory baseball program hosted on-site at daycare facilities. /li /ulpResponsibilities:/pul liFollow Little Rookies instructional baseball programming./li liProvide fun and energetic instruction./li liSet up and take down equipment./li /ulpstrongRequirements/strong/pul liReliable transportation to local parks and facilities./li liOpen weekend availability./li liMust be able to pass a background check./li liAbility to stand for up to four hours at a time/li liMust be great with kids and willing to work with children 2-6 years old and their parents./li /ulpbr/ppemstrongPreferred/strong/em/pul liComprehensive baseball knowledge. /li liYouth coaching experience preferred./li /ulpstrongBenefits/strong/ppFlexible schedule - Part-time/pp W-2 hourly employee/ppPay: $20.00- $40.00/ per hour/ppContinued professional development /ppAdditional coaching opportunities in soccer and multiple-sport program/p
