Time Out Market is the division of Time Out that brings our food and cultural experiences to life for our guests, readers and clients.br/br/Our Market Barbacks provide outstanding guest service and product to ensure that each of our guests enjoy a memorable experience with each visit. br/br/br/Responsibilitiesbr/br/Provide service to Bartenders, Beverage Runners and Guests in a timely mannerbr/br/Assist bartender with taking guest orders and ensuring proper product is served to guestsbr/br/Appear in uniform for all shifts at scheduled timebr/br/Polish and wash glassware throughout the shiftbr/br/Prepares all mixes and garnishesbr/br/Ensure proper rotation of all liquor, beer, wine and consumable itemsbr/br/Keep bar top clean and free of dirty glasses, dirty ashtrays, trash, etc. throughout shift.br/br/Keep back bar clean and organized.br/br/Clean all spills and waste immediately. Sweep and mop as needed. Place all trash in proper receptacles br/br/Proper setup and maintenance of event and or banquet function spacesbr/br/Assist with loading/unloading of miscellaneous equipment, such as boxes, food and beverage productbr/br/Responsible to ensure all stocking is complete, requisitions are filled out and any shortage of stock is reportedbr/br/Maintain opening/closing liquor, beer, wine and consumables parbr/br/Inform management of any complaint, comments or incidentbr/br/Ability to create and maintain service rapportbr/br/Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a courteous and polite mannerbr/br/Anticipate guest needsbr/br/Provide information to guests regarding our venues, menus and pricingbr/br/Adhere to all company standard operating procedures. Maintain all company service sequence standardsbr/br/Recognize and cultivate regular Guests and repeat businessbr/br/Maintain line of sight/atmosphere control by circulating through your work area throughout shiftbr/br/Report any incidents of theft, vandalism, or violationsbr/br/Respond to Guest concerns/complaints and correct errors or resolve complaints with a positive attitudebr/br/Recognize and acknowledge when Guests are becoming intoxicated and/or are intoxicatedbr/br/Monitor potentially intoxicated and/or disruptive Guests and promptly bring to a Manager’s attentionbr/br/Comply with all safety and health department procedures as well as Company and/or departmental policies/procedures and all state and federal liquor laws.
