Alpine Springs offers the tools and training that will help prepare you for success while employed with our company—whether you are a seasoned professional or someone that wants to learn and grow with our company!  /span/p pspan style="font-size: 18px" /span/p pspan style="font-weight: bold"span style="font-size: 18px"Position’s Scope /span/span/p pspan style="font-size: 18px"The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) provides the day-to-day nursing care of the clients and ensures their safe care throughout the withdrawal management process according to Alpine Springs policies and procedures, federal and state laws and regulations, the PA Health Department, DDAP and CARF standards./span/p pspan style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 18px" /span/p pspan style="font-weight: bold"span style="color: #222222; font-size: 18px"Responsibilities:/span/span/p ul lispan style="color: #222222; font-size: 18px"Works collaboratively with the Lead Nurse and the Medical Director to accomplish all departmental goals./span/li lispan style="color: #222222; font-size: 18px"Manage and order nursing supplies./span/li lispan style="color: #222222; font-size: 18px"Monitor clients’ medications./span/li lispan style="color: #222222; font-size: 18px"Maintain records and reports including documenting progress of detox clients./span/li lispan style="color: #222222; font-size: 18px"Monitor clients to ensure safety. /span/li lispan style="color: #222222; font-size: 18px"Monitor clients through a safe detox./span/li lispan style="color: #222222; font-size: 18px"Maintain a safe environment for storage of narcotics./span/li lispan style="color: #222222; font-size: 18px"Ability to conduct alcohol and other drug related ASAM assessments during admission; and on-going./span/li lispan style="color: #222222; font-size: 18px"Ability to take doctor’s orders accurately./span/li lispan style="color: #222222; font-size: 18px"Ability to administer medications to clients independently./span/li lispan style="color: #222222; font-size: 18px"Monitor withdrawal symptoms in detox clients./span/li lispan style="color: #222222; font-size: 18px"Monitor confidentiality at all times./span/li lispan style="color: #222222; font-size: 18px"Complete inspections of all medical supplies and medications./span/li lispan style="color: #222222; font-size: 18px"Maintain and meet Environment of Care standards./span/li lispan style="color: #222222; font-size: 18px"Participates in performance management activities including client complaints and incident reporting./span/li lispan style="color: #222222; font-size: 18px"Participates in the implementation and maintenance of the CARF standards through scheduled management meetings. /span/li lispan style="color: #222222; font-size: 18px"Provide direction to nursing staff./span/li lispan style="color: #222222; font-size: 18px"Schedule nursing staff appropriately. /span/li lispan style="color: #222222; font-size: 18px"Ensure Pre-certifications and Insurance Reviews are completed by nursing staff. /span/li lispan style="color: #222222; font-size: 18px"Occasional travel to the Linesville location will be required. /span/li lispan style="color: #222222; font-size: 18px"Any duties as assigned dictated by the needs of the business./span/li /ul pbr/p pspan style="font-weight: bold"span style="color: #222222; font-size: 18px"Job Type:/span/spanspan style="color: #222222; font-size: 18px" Per-Diem (casual work, as needed). /span/p pspan style="font-size: 18px" /span/p pspan style="font-weight: bold"span style="color: #222222; font-size: 18px"Pay Range:/span/spanspan style="color: #222222; font-size: 18px" Competitive Hourly Wage; DOE. /span/p pspan style="color: #222222; font-size: 18px" /span/p pspan style="font-weight: bold"span style="color: #222222; font-size: 18px"Hours of Work:/span/span/p ul lispan style="color: #222222; font-size: 18px"Alpine Springs operates on a 24 hours per day and 7 days per week schedule. Employees are assigned shifts to accommodate these hours. All employees are expected to be flexible and understand that they may be asked to work different shifts/ at different sites to aid in covering the hours of the company./span/li lispan style="color: #222222; font-size: 18px"Per-Diem Employees: These employees will work on an as needed basis.
