Good communication skills and the ability to effectively instruct swimmers of differing skill levels are vital to the successful execution of this position. This position is responsible for planning and teaching survival swim skills, stroke techniques, and water safety skills for class participants. Incorporate Starfish Aquatic Institute training and procedures into class sessions. Monitor swimmers, observe and correct errors, and ensure the safety of class members.
