pstrongQuality Auditor:nbsp;/strong Split Shift 5:00am-1:30pm Quality $16-$18/hr. $2.00 SD/p pstrongPosition Summary:/strong Position is responsible for ensuring product meets Silgan, Slatersville customer specifications./p pstrongFunctions: /strongPerforms first piece inspection utilizing various inspection techniques and instruments./p pPerforms activities in accordance with the quality plan and applicable quality, manufacturing, and safety/p pprocedures. Reports unusually high percent of defective parts. Performs in process audits to visual/p pstandards. Determines product conformance. If non-conforming, identifies inspection status and/p previews prior production. Ensures conformance to molding line clearance and order packet information./p pAssists operators in training and development in areas of quality and decision-making. Maintains a neat/p pand orderly work area, keeping walkways and aisles clear. Performs general housekeeping duties such as/p psweeping and trash removal. When work in primary classification is not available, may perform other/p pduties according to skill and availability./p pstrongRequirement/strong: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. · Solid/p punderstanding of test equipment. Minimum of 2-5 years of inspection and/or production/p pexperience. Strong working knowledge of various mathematical concepts including fractions, ratios,/p pand proportions. Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally. Specific vision abilities/p prequired include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the/p pability to adjust focus. Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent/p porganizational skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret information/p
