pspan Bachelor’s degree desirable, but associate degree required from an accredited school of nursing./span/p
pspan Current Kansas Registered Nurse License/span/p
pspan Mandatory Certifications: CPR, ACLS, PALS, TNCC/span/p

lispanAssesses triages and intervenes for emergency room patients and traumas/span/li
lispanPerforms outpatient treatments as directed per the provider/span/li
lispanMonitors, maintains, and records accurate patient care documentation/span/li
lispanAbility to organize, prioritize and delegate patent care appropriately/span/li
lispanMust be able to recognize, respond and intervene with any change of condition/span/li
lispanActs as facilitator/preceptor to less experienced staff./span/li

lispanAssess patients on daily basis and determine appropriate nursing care plan and update as needed/span/li
lispanMust be able to adequately do a medical screening exam on every patient that comes into the emergency room and report assessment to the provider./span/li
lispanAdminister medications and documents in patient medical record/span/li
lispanFollows policy regarding narcotic administration, usage, and waste./span/li
lispanMaintains patient confidentiality and privacy/span/li
lispanMaintains accurate, clear documentation and communication of patient information/span/li
lispanReports all critical labs and all changes in patient condition./span/li
lispanMaintains departmental policy and procedure and participates in quality improvement programs/span/li
lispanAdheres to safety, environmental and infection control standards/span/li
lispanResponsible for floor patients, ER patients and outpatients. /span/li
