Pharmacy Technician I (or II) – Part-Time Floater

Rolla & St. Robert, MO | 32 Hours Per Week

Position Overview

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will work under the supervision of a pharmacist to assist with the preparation, compounding, and dispensing of medications. You will play a key role in ensuring patient safety, regulatory compliance, and outstanding service for the communities we serve.

Floater Position: This role will provide coverage between our Rolla and St. Robert locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist pharmacists in preparing, compounding, and dispensing medications
  • Support safe and accurate medication distribution
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local pharmacy regulations
  • Follow established pharmacy standards and procedures
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare teams
  • Contribute to a safe, efficient, and patient-focused pharmacy environment
Qualifications

Pharmacy Technician I

Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required

Licensure

  • Active Missouri Board of Pharmacy Technician registration in good standing, or willingness to obtain registration by the first day of employment
  • Must complete fingerprinting and FBI background check requirements

Experience

  • Previous pharmacy experience preferred but not required

Other Requirements

  • Successful completion of pharmacy department orientation

Pharmacy Technician II

Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required

Licensure

  • Active Missouri Board of Pharmacy Technician registration in good standing, or willingness to obtain registration by the first day of employment
  • Must complete fingerprinting and FBI background check requirements

Experience

  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant pharmacy experience required
  • 2+ years preferred

Certification

  • Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) required
