This position is responsible for reporting, physical inventory, and system audits and for utilizing the inventory management system to prepare and track materials and products in preparation for shipping and receiving demands to meet customer needs. Various sites may require additional support based on the nature of the business. This could include, but is not limited to, product holds/releases, recalls, and returns. In addition, specific practices and/or regulations may exist (i.e. food safety)./pp/ph1bFunctions/b/h1ulliMaintain perpetual inventory of materials and products and generates applicable inventory reports./liliPerform daily cycle count activities and inventory audits and track and monitor all damaged product in inventory; provide necessary reports to leadership./liliVerify clerical inventory records against physical inventory counts; investigates and reports discrepancies./liliMay coordinate product recalls, holds/releases, product infestation audits./liliMay monitor pest control program if required at site./liliIf responsible for quality functions:/liliEnsure facility is inspection ready at all times (i.e. SQFI, FDA or other customer needs)./liliFacilitates quality/regulated training and coordinates the sites quality management program./liliMaintains the sites quality management portal and may draft/revise site SOPs as needed./li/ulp/ph1bQualifications/b/h1ulliHigh School or GED required; associate degree or two years of equivalent experience preferred./liliMinimum 2 years’ experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
