pstrongPosition Summary:/strong/p pThe Behavioral Tech supports the mental health care team by assisting with the delivery of therapeutic activities, behavioral interventions, and daily living support for patients of all ages. This role helps maintain a safe, structured, and recovery-oriented environment by observing patient behavior, reinforcing treatment plans, and encouraging participation in therapeutic programming. Working collaboratively with nurses, therapists, and other interdisciplinary team members, the Behavioral Tech supports consistent patient monitoring, crisis prevention efforts, and respectful, person-centered care. Through dependable support and active engagement, the position plays an important role in promoting patient safety, emotional well-being, and effective unit operations./p pstrongKey Responsibilities:/strong/p ul liAssist with implementing therapeutic groups, activities, and behavioral interventions under the direction of clinical staff./li liObserve and document patient behavior, mood, and participation, reporting significant changes to nursing or therapeutic team members./li liSupport patient safety by monitoring the milieu, responding to escalating behaviors, and utilizing approved deescalation techniques./li liProvide assistance with daily living activities, patient transport, and environmental rounding to maintain a clean and orderly unit./li liCollaborate with interdisciplinary team members to reinforce individualized treatment plans and support patient engagement./li liMaintain accurate records and uphold confidentiality, safety procedures, and organizational protocols./li /ul
