Registered Nurse - Obstetrical Unit
Schedule\nThis position offers a night shift schedule with 3 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. Must be available for weekends and be willing to float if needed.
Job Description\nThe Registered Nurse will provide direct care to obstetrical patients, which includes assessment, medication administration, and implementing providers' orders while evaluating their effects. This role requires adherence to all hospital policies and accreditation standards while collaborating effectively with the care team.
Responsibilities\n- \n
- Provide direct care to obstetrical patients. \n
- Conduct patient assessments and administer medications. \n
- Document care provided and communicate effectively with the care team. \n
- Manage patient care in accordance with hospital policies. \n
- Participate in high-risk deliveries and provide neonatal resuscitation as needed. \n
- \n
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. \n
- Must hold a valid RN license from North Carolina or a compact state. \n
- Certifications required: BLS, NRP, ACLS (must be within the last 6 months), CPI (must be in hand prior to start). \n
- Minimum of one year of clinical experience in an obstetrics setting. \n
- Meditech experience preferred but will provide training as needed. \n
