Job Summary:
\n Under general supervision, performs professional Occupational Therapy activities consisting of planning, evaluating, establishing, and implementing individual and group treatment activities under the direction of a physician. Responsibilities include interpreting physician referrals, evaluating patients, developing treatment plans, assisting with adaptive equipment, and providing discharge planning support. May also supervise students.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy
\n
• Current license from the Oklahoma State Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision as an Occupational Therapist
\n
• Current Basic Life Support certification issued by the American Heart Association
\n
• Knowledge of principles and practices of professional occupational therapy
\n
• Skill in organizing and instructing occupational therapy activities
\n
• Ability to interpret prescriptions related to therapy
\n
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
\n
• Basic computer skills
\n
