American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring night shift availability and an active NC or compact RN license.
Details\n- \n
- Labor & Delivery unit in a hospital setting \n
- 10-bed unit with patient ratios that vary by stage of labor, ranging from 1:1 to 1:4 \n
- Direct care provided to obstetrical patients \n
- Schedule: 4x12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM \n
- Weekend work required \n
- No on-call responsibilities \n
- Floating required if needed \n
- Block scheduling requests cannot be accommodated \n
- Meditech EMR used; experience preferred but on-site training available \n

- Active NC or compact state RN license required \n
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing \n
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience required \n
- Current BLS and NRP certifications required \n
- Current ACLS certification required (must have been obtained within the last 6 months) \n
- CPI certification must be in hand prior to start \n
- Two professional references required for consideration \n
- Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration \n

- Responsibilities include patient assessment, medication administration, executing and evaluating provider orders, care documentation, and interdisciplinary communication \n
- Care is provided in accordance with all hospital policies and accreditation standards \n
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position \n
