American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week Emergency Department travel assignment requiring ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications with day/night rotating shifts.
Details- Work setting is an acute care hospital Emergency Department (ER)
- Patient ratio is 1:4, rarely 1:5
- Telemetry skills required, including basic cardiology strip reading
- Administers drips and occasionally manages ventilated patients with RT support
- Respiratory Therapy (RT) available 24/7 between in-house and on-call coverage
- Pharmacy services available 24/7 between in-house and remote services
- Hospitalist on staff; no dedicated IV team
- Nurse aides available on the unit
- EMR systems: Paragon and Touchworks (Allscripts)
- 12-hour day/night rotating shifts
- Every third weekend required
- Holiday coverage may be required
- Floating to Med/Surg required
- Active MN RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC
- Basic cardiology/telemetry knowledge and strip reading ability required
- Experience with drips and occasional ventilator management required
- BSN not required
- 13-week contract with 12-hour rotating day/night shifts
- Charge nurse role is not part of this assignment
- Unit-specific orientation provided
- No scrub color requirement
