American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position requiring a minimum of 2 years of OR experience across various specialties and an active SC or compact RN license.

- Hospital operating room setting \n
- Performs scrubbing and/or circulating duties across various surgical specialties \n
- Schedule is 4x10-hour shifts per day with hours of 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM; days vary based on departmental need \n
- On-call requirement includes one weekday call per week and one call weekend per month \n
- 36 hours per week \n

- Active SC or compact RN license required (no pending licenses accepted) \n
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA-issued only) \n
- Minimum 2 years of OR experience in a U.S. hospital with exposure to various surgical specialties \n
- Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program required \n
- BSN highly desired \n
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position \n
- Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying experience within the previous 12 months (at least one from most recent employer) \n
- Valid U.S. Social Security Number required \n
- Date of birth required for consideration \n
- Copies of all certifications required for consideration \n

- Responsible for scrubbing and/or circulating for operative procedures and department admissions to the operative suite \n
- Adheres to standards and appropriate aseptic techniques throughout all procedures \n
- Consults and coordinates with surgical team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate intraoperative patient care plans \n
- Serves as a communication liaison between patients, families, and the operating team \n
- Prepares the OR for each patient and procedure, assembles necessary equipment and supplies, and confirms equipment functionality and implant availability \n
- CPI certification is mandated for this position \n
