\nRN - ER
\nJob Details:
\n• Day/Night rotating shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
\n • Every other weekend required
\n • Holiday coverage required if holiday falls within regularly scheduled shift
\n • No on-call or standby requirements
\n • 12-hour orientation shift provided (7:00 AM to 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
\n • Block scheduling will be considered
\n • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, TNCC; PALS preferred
\n • Minimum 2 years of ER experience required; previous Med/Surg experience required
\n • Must be able to read own telemetry strips independently
\n • Tele monitors are Mindray brand
\n • RNs responsible for respiratory equipment management including vents, CPAP, BiPAP, and high flow
\n • Floating required to Med/Surg and Swing Bed unit, which is located on the same unit
\n • Average of 10 patients treated per day in the ER
\n • ER holds are intermixed within the ER
\n • Separate psych/seclusion rooms available
\n • Facility is a Trauma Level IV, STEMI receiving, and Stroke designated center
\n • 4 beds and 2 trauma bays available
\n • Charting system: Point Click Care (PCC)
\n • Scrub color/dress code: Navy blue
\n • BSN not required
\n • 50-mile radius rule applies

\nThis acute care facility operates a fully equipped emergency department designated as a Trauma Level IV, STEMI receiving, and Stroke center. The department includes 4 beds and 2 trauma bays, separate psych/seclusion rooms, and is supported by an ED physician on each shift along with a charge nurse who also takes patient assignments.
