American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a 13-week travel contract in Illinois, with a focus on heavy ortho, urology, spine, and robotic procedures requiring call availability.
Details- Hospital-based Operating Room setting
- Heavy case volume in orthopedics, urology, spine, and robotic-assisted procedures
- 10-hour day shifts, 4 days per week (0800–1830)
- Call required: 1 weeknight and 2 weekend days per month at minimum, with potential for additional call based on departmental need
- Floating to other facilities within the health system may be required
- Active Illinois RN license currently in hand
- Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience
- Current certifications: BLS and ACLS
- Date of birth (DOB) and Social Security Number (SSN) may be required for consideration
- Responsibilities include assessing patients, developing and implementing individualized plans of care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team, and recognizing and reporting changes in patient condition
- Accurate and complete medical record documentation is expected
- Part of a large non-profit health system with nearly 4,000 employees serving southern Illinois communities
