Join Allied Universal at a busy manufacturing and industrial location as an Access Control Officer, where you will help manage entry and exit points, verify credentials, issue badges, and keep accurate activity logs. You will remain highly visible, perform routine patrols as assigned, and communicate clearly with employees and visitors to help identify and report security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Control access at entry and exit points by verifying identification, managing visitor and contractor check-in and/or check-out, issuing temporary credentials when authorized, and maintaining required logs.
• Monitor vehicle and pedestrian traffic flow at gates and/or receiving areas, help to deter unauthorized entry, and communicate access issues to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events and notifying appropriate contacts per post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including the business and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
