Application Developer - Full-time

General Purpose

This role is for a highly skilled and motivated ASP.NET Core Developer with strong SQL experience. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable web applications, leveraging ASP.NET Core frameworks and SQL databases. This position involves working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet business requirements.

Essential Duties

Application Development:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy web applications and APIs using ASP.NET Core.
• Implement front-end features using Razor Pages, Blazor, or JavaScript frameworks as needed.

Database Management:

• Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions.
• Design and manage database schemas and ensure efficient data retrieval.
• Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and other developers to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

System Integration and Maintenance:

• Integrate third-party APIs and services into applications.
• Maintain and enhance existing applications to improve functionality and performance.

Documentation and Best Practices:

• Document application designs, database structures, and processes.
• Follow and enforce coding standards and best practices.

Security and Compliance:

• Ensure applications adhere to security best practices, including authentication, authorization, and data protection.
• Perform regular updates and patches for frameworks and libraries.

Qualification

Education and/or Experience

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Sottware engineering, or a related field. or equivalent work experience.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in ASP.NET Core and C#.
• Strong understanding of SQL and relational database concepts.
• Experience with LINQ, Entity Framework, or other ORM
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS,
• JavaScript).
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).

Experience:

• 3+ years of experience developing web applications using
  ASP.NET Core.
• Hands-on experience with database design and optimization.

Physical Demands

This role primarily involves sedentary work, requiring extended periods of sitting to perform coding, testing, and debugging tasks on a computer. Occasional standing, walking, bending, and reaching may be necessary for office-related activities or team collaboration. Essential demands include manual dexterity for proficient keyboard and mouse use, as well as clear verbal and written communication for effective teamwork and documentation.
