Required: RNs must have one year of inpatient experience minimum in the related department with the trauma level shown below                
Required: One year of travel experience is preferred but will consider six months’ travel                
Required: All Candidates are expected to Float as needed

Required: Saturday, Sunday, Monday 7am-7om

Job Summary

Under supervision, the MRI Technologist I provides specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology services to adult and pediatric patients. This entry-level role supports medical staff in diagnosing, treating, and monitoring various conditions using advanced imaging techniques.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for procedures and correlate clinical history with physician-ordered procedures.
  • Operate specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic equipment to perform diagnostic, interventional, and/or surgical procedures.
  • Communicate and collaborate with patients, families, and multidisciplinary care teams to achieve clinical and operational goals.
  • Ensure post-procedure reviews are completed, documented, and meet quality standards.
  • Transfer images and data to archival systems and prepare studies for physician reporting.
  • Perform quality control checks, cleaning, and maintenance of equipment per manufacturer and regulatory guidelines.
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development to maintain competencies and improve care quality.
Required Qualifications
  • Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited cardiovascular specialty program or JRCERT-accredited radiologic technology program.
  • Eligibility for MRI Certification (must be obtained within 12 months of hire).
  • AHA BLS certification.
  • Knowledge of cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology, medical imaging, anatomy, and medical terminology.
  • Ability to work as part of a team, follow instructions, and maintain accurate records.
  • Strong communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree or higher.
