American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical-Surgical position in Oregon, requiring active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications with a minimum of 2 years of experience.

- Day shift position, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM, 3x12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week) \n
- Medical-Surgical unit caring for adult patients before and after surgical procedures \n
- Floating to other departments may be required when qualified \n
- \n
- Active Oregon RN license required \n
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS \n
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required \n
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program required \n
- BSN or MSN preferred \n
- Certified Medical-Surgical RN (CMSRN) preferred \n
- Previous Med/Surg nursing experience preferred \n

- Responsibilities include assessing patient conditions, administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams \n
- Nurse is responsible for initiating the computerized Plan of Care upon patient admission \n
- Must respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or response to treatment \n
- CRASE training preferred; will be required if the assignment extends beyond 6 months \n
- Participation in required education for DNV programs as applicable to the position \n
