Line Cook (Part-Time) – Bar Kitchen

Location: Oxford, PA
Hours: Part-Time (30–35 hours per week)
Schedule: Nights and weekends required. Kitchen closes at 12:30 AM.
Pay: $18–21 per hour depending on experience

Position Overview

We are looking for a dependable and experienced Line Cook to join our bar kitchen team. Our menu focuses on burgers, wings, and fried items, and we are seeking someone who can work efficiently on grill and fry stations during moderate to busy shifts.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, maintains high food quality standards, and works well with a team during busy service periods.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards

Operate grill and fry stations during service

Maintain ticket flow and prioritize orders during busy periods

Ensure proper food safety and sanitation procedures are followed

Keep workstations clean, organized, and stocked

Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff

Assist with closing duties and kitchen cleanup at the end of service

Requirements

Previous line cook experience in a bar, pub, diner, or high-volume kitchen preferred

Ability to work grill and/or fry stations during busy shifts

Availability for nights and weekends

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stay organized during a rush

Reliable transportation for late-night closing shifts

Strong teamwork and communication skills

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand for extended periods

Ability to lift up to 40 pounds

Comfortable working in a hot kitchen environment
