Position Summary

We are searching for Retail Team Members that are passionate about helping people. You will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service and making sure every person who walks through the doors feels special and welcome. We sell the experience, so it is your responsibility to answer questions, educate, and offer solutions to customer needs. As the face of our company, you will build strong relationships with our guests that will build brand loyalty and keep them coming back.

Responsibilities

• Create an unforgettable guest experience
• Assist customers in finding plants and answering questions about their gardening projects
• Complete any sale from greeting, to processing the sale and assist with loading the customer purchase in their vehicle
• Answer Garden Center phone calls
• Stock, water and maintain plant displays
• Assist in merchandising and receiving as directed
• Keep areas clean, free of clutter, and in a general professional appearance.
• Keep up to date on Garden Center happenings and events on the website and through social media

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service skills
• Desire to be a positive team player with a passion for plants
• Desire to learn
• Able to work standing, bending, moving, lifting most of the day
• Can handle extreme temperatures as most work will be outside
• Must have an outgoing and friendly personality
• Able to work weekends and holidays
• Good communication skills/basic Spanish and/or desire to learn a plus
• General computer knowledge
• Be flexible. Know priorities will change within a given day or week

Compensation & Benefits

Wage DOE:

Full-time and part-time availability
