🚨 Travel RN – CVICU | Omaha, NE | Nights | $2,600–$2,800/Week 🚨

We are seeking an experienced CVICU Registered Nurse to join a high-acuity cardiovascular ICU team in Omaha, Nebraska. This unit cares for complex cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgery patients requiring advanced life-support therapies.

📍 Position Details

• Title: Travel RN – CVICU

• Location: Omaha, NE 68124

• Shift: Nights | 3x12-hour shifts (6:30 PM – 6:30 AM)

• Weekly Pay: $2,600 – $2,800

• Contract: Travel/Contract

• Radius Rule: 50 miles

🏥 Unit Overview

• Beds: 18-bed CVICU

• Ratios: 1:1

• Patient Population: Open heart, complex thoracic and vascular surgery patients

🩺 Clinical Experience Required

• Management of patients supported by Impella, IABP, CRRT, and ECMO

• Care for patients undergoing advanced cardiac and vascular procedures including carotids, TCARs, Fem-Pop, EVARs, and Endo AAA repairs

• Experience with post-cardiac surgery recovery and high-acuity ICU care

💊 Clinical Responsibilities

• Titrate critical drips including vasopressors, antiarrhythmics, paralytics, sedation, and narcotics

• Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry independently

• Manage ventilators, CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen systems

• Provide care for patients admitted from Cath Lab, EP Lab, ER, and clinic

📋 Requirements

• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS

• Experience: Minimum 1 year CVICU experience with similar patient population

📅 Additional Details

• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

• Holiday Requirement: Every other or as needed

• Floating: May float to other inpatient units (excluding Maternity/NICU)

• Scrubs: Navy Blue

• Orientation: 2 unit-specific shifts
