Assembler - Full-time

Job Summary
We are seeking dependable and hardworking individuals to join our team as Entry-Level Truss Assemblers. In this role, you will perform repetitive assembly tasks on a production line to build structural building components such as wall panels, roof trusses, and floor trusses. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with hand and power tools, following instructions, and maintaining safety and quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble building material components such as wall panels, roof trusses, and floor trusses
• Position, clamp, splice, and fit materials together using hand tools and air-powered tools
• Read and interpret set-up sheets, work orders, drawings, or basic blueprints to complete assembly tasks
• Gather required materials and tools to prepare for production orders
• Inspect assembled products to ensure they meet quality specifications
• Maintain consistent work pace to meet daily and weekly production goals
• Follow instructions and training provided by supervisors or experienced team members
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures to prevent workplace injuries
• Participate in safety meetings and support continuous safety improvements
• Assist with additional tasks or projects as assigned by management

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
• Ability to safely use a variety of hand and power tools
• Basic mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Ability to read and understand simple diagrams or blueprints
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Work Environment

• Manufacturing environment with varying temperatures
• Dusty and noisy conditions when machines and tools are in operation
• Required use of personal protective equipment including eye protection, ear protection, and steel-toed boots
• Overtime may be required depending on production needs

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Frequently lift and carry up to 75 pounds
• Occasionally lift up to 100 pounds
• Ability to perform repetitive movements and manual tasks throughout the shift
