SUMMER TEACHER, SUMMER BRIDGE TO KINDERGARTEN "INTERNAL ONLY" - Full-time / Part-time

This position is open to Internal employees Only. You must be currently contracted with Flagler County Public Schools. Substitutes and “as needed” employees are not eligible to apply.

The number of positions available is determined by student enrollment.

Will provide intensive interventions for students who have completed VPK as a student identified with a substantial deficiency in foundational reading skills. The teacher will provide evidence-based instruction with an emphasis on emergent literacy instruction that is grounded in the science of reading.

Must be available for the entire duration of camp

Pay Rate: $35 an hour

Qualifications:  

• Must be Certified in Primary or Elementary Education, including Kindergarten
• Must have highly effective current experience with phonics-based reading intervention
• Prefer recent Kindergarten teaching experience
• Prefer previous experience teaching summer programs

Location: Wadsworth Elementary

Teacher Dates: June 8 - July 14, Mon-Fri, off on July 3

Teacher Hours: 7:30-2:30
