Position Summary

The Mission Ambassador serves as a welcoming presence for new hires, residents, families, and visitors. This role supports both team member onboarding and resident experience, helping ensure everyone entering the organization feels informed, comfortable, and connected.

Mission Ambassadors help reinforce our culture by supporting orientation, assisting with engagement activities, and serving as a friendly resource throughout the facility.

Key Responsibilities

Welcome & Onboarding

• Greet and support new employees during orientation and first days on the job
• Help new team members navigate the building and understand resources available
• Reinforce the organization’s mission, values, and culture
• Assist with orientation sessions and onboarding logistics

Resident & Family Experience

• Welcome new residents and families during admissions and transitions
• Provide facility tours and assist with wayfinding
• Help residents feel comfortable and connected to programs and activities
• Support communication between departments to ensure a positive experience

Team Culture & Engagement

• Assist with employee engagement initiatives and recognition activities
• Support facility events and celebrations
• Help build connections between new hires and department leaders
• Promote a positive and welcoming environment for staff and residents

Community Connection

• Support community outreach and recruitment events when needed
• Represent the facility at job fairs or community engagement opportunities
• Help share the story of our mission and care culture

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, bilingual preferred 
• Friendly, welcoming, and service-oriented personality
• Ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds
• Organized and able to manage multiple tasks
• Experience in healthcare, hospitality, customer service, or community engagement preferred
• Passion for supporting residents and team members
