pDescription/ppstrongSummary/strong/ppThe Hotel Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, order, and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas to ensure a comfortable and welcoming environment for all guests. This role includes making beds, replenishing linens and amenities, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, dusting, and reporting any maintenance issues. The Housekeeper follows hotel standards and safety protocols to deliver high-quality service and contribute to a positive guest experience./ppbr//ppstrongEssential Duties and Responsibilities/strong/pulliMaintain a clean and organized supply cart./liliSort, count, fold, mark, or carry linens./liliChange linen and make beds./liliSweep, scrub, and mop floors./liliDust furniture and fixtures./liliWash walls, ceiling, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills./liliClean and sanitize bathrooms./liliEmpty wastebaskets and transport trash and waste to disposal area./liliVacuum carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies./liliMove furniture, hang and remove drapes, and roll carpets as needed./liliReplenish guest room supplies, i.e. bathroom amenities and writing supplies./liliEnsure beds are made to standard with fresh clean linens/liliEnsure bath terry is clean and stain free/liliEnsure lost and found articles are tagged and turned into management./liliInspect room for maintenance needs and check all fixtures, equipment and room conditions (television, radio, lights, heating/cooling, furniture, wallpaper, etc.) for proper operation, settings and maintenance. Report deficiencies./liliClean lobby, lounge, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, and stairways as assigned./liliReplace light bulbs as needed./liliDeep clean all assigned guest rooms and replenish guest amenities and supplies as needed./li/ulpbr//ppbr//ppRequirements/ppstrongQualifications/strong/ppUp to one month related experience or training; Less than high school education; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum 18 years of age./ppbr//ppstrongPhysical Demands/strong/ppThe associate must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds./ppbr//ppstrongWork Environment/strong/ppWhile performing the duties of this Job, the associate is regularly exposed to chemicals, dust and odors, fumes or particles.
