We’re currently looking for a Part-Time Nanny in San Francisco, CA (94116)
A wonderful family in the Outer Sunset neighborhood of San Francisco is seeking a reliable and engaging nanny to help with morning routine and school drop offs. The family would also welcome candidates who may have weekday afternoons available between 4pm-7pm, though this is not required. The family would love to find the same caregiver for their afternoon routines as well, but not required.
- Schedule: Monday-Friday (Typically Monday-Thursday)
- 3 to 4 days per week, family is flexible with caregiver availability
- Morning Shift (Priority Need): 7:30am to 9:30am
- Additional Optional Hours (Not Required): 4PM to 7PM
- Start Date: ASAP
- Length of Position: Long-term, ongoing
- Rate: $30–$35/hour
- 4 children: ages 3, 3, 5, and 7 years old
- Assist children with morning routines including getting dressed and ready for the day
- Prepare simple breakfast and school lunches
- Pack backpacks and school supplies
- Drive children to school (two nearby schools, within ~2 miles)
- Light clean-up related to meals and children’s activities
- Maintain a safe, organized, and supportive environment for the children
AFTERNOON CARE NEEDS (Not required):
- Afternoon school pick-ups and transportation to activities (such as soccer practice)
- Coordinate transportation between school, activities, and home
- Prepare snacks and simple meals
- Support after-school routines and engagement until parents take over dinner
- Help children wash hands, organize belongings, and prepare for the next school day
- Minimum 2 years of childcare experience with school aged children
- Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
- Comfortable driving children to school and activities (family vehicle available)
- CPR/First Aid certified or willing to obtain
- Ability to pass background, social media, and driving record checks
- Able to provide proof of car insurance
- Comfortable working in a home with a friendly dog and cat
- Preferred but not required: Personal vehicle with space for multiple car seats (gas reimbursement available)
This position pays $30–$35 per hour, with guaranteed weekly hours depending on the selected schedule. The family is seeking long-term support for morning routines, and possibly evening care as well.
