ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS- IMMEDIETE OPENINGS FOR AM (6:30-3:00) AND PM SHIFTS (2:30-11:00)
SHIFTS BASED ON BUSINESS NEEDS
The CNA will provide basic nursing care by assisting residents with personal, nutritional and restorative care under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
Position qualifications- High school graduate or GED preferred
- California Certified Nursing Assistant Certificate required
- Knowledge and experience in bedside nursing
- Well groomed with appropriate manner and conduct
- Ability to communicate effectively on verbal and written levels
- Consistently honor and encourage the resident’s freedom of choice
- Knock on the resident’s door prior to entering the room
- Explain any and all care and procedures to be given to the resident
- Respect the resident’s privacy by providing privacy during care
- Provide resident’s visitors privacy during visits
- Honor the right of the resident to refuse any treatment (but must still notify charge nurse when resident refuses)
- Assure confidentiality of all resident related information
- Report all concerns and complaints of the resident to the proper authorities in a timely manner
- Honor resident’s personal property rights by keeping a current inventory list, storing all personal items as necessary assuring all personal property is not used by staff or other residents
- Assist the residents and family through dying and death experience by assuring care and dignity
