Memory Care Activities Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop, plan, and implement daily life enrichment activities tailored to residents with memory care needs

- Foster a supportive and engaging environment that promotes residents' cognitive, emotional, and physical well-being

- Assess residents' interests and abilities to create personalized activity plans

- Collaborate with care staff to ensure activities align with individual care plans and safety protocols

- Monitor and document residents' participation and progress in activities

- Maintain a positive and respectful atmosphere that encourages social interaction and emotional comfort

Skills and Qualifications:

- Prior experience working with memory care residents or in a senior care setting

- Strong understanding of dementia and other memory-related conditions

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Creativity and enthusiasm in designing engaging activities

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Compassionate, patient, and attentive to residents' needs

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in activity coordination or senior care preferred
