🩺 CVICU RN | Omaha, NE

We are currently seeking an experienced CVICU Registered Nurse for a 12-hour night shift opportunity in Omaha, Nebraska. Join a high-acuity cardiovascular unit caring for complex cardiac and thoracic patients in a fast-paced ICU environment.

📍 Location: Omaha, NE
🕒 Shift: 12-Hour Nights (1830–0630)
🏥 Unit: CVICU – 18 Beds
👩‍⚕️ Ratio: 1:1 Patient Care

Required Certifications:
• BLS
• ACLS
• NIHSS

Patient Population Includes:
• Open heart recovery
• Complex thoracic & vascular surgeries
• Patients supported by Impella, IABP, CRRT, ECMO
• Advanced cardiac and structural heart cases

Unit Highlights:
• Intensivist & Hospitalist available 24/7
• Experience with vasopressors, sedation, antiarrhythmics, paralytics required
• RNs interpret telemetry independently
• Navy blue scrubs
• 2 shifts of orientation

Additional Requirements:
• Minimum 1 year CVICU experience with similar patient population
• Driver’s license required at submission
• 50-mile radius rule applies
• Candidates cannot currently work with CommonSpirit/CHI/Dignity facilities

Important:
• Pass/Fail open-book exam during orientation (90% required)
• Artificial nails are not permitted in patient care areas
