Key Duties

• Serve as the Command Information System Security Manager (ISSM) reporting directly to the Commanding Officer of Naval Foundry and Propulsion Center (NFPC) on Cybersecurity matters.
• Responsible for the management, oversight, and implementation of the NFPC Cybersecurity Program. Satisfies all technical qualifications and certifications as required by DoW, Navy, and NAVSEA policy.
• Investigates, reviews and corrects all incidents whether intentional or accidental, reports same to proper higher authority and maintains records of events as they occur.
• Develops and maintains the NFPC Information Technology (IT) Security Plan and other required Information Assurance (IA) and Cybersecurity (CS) documentation.
• The incumbent implements and manages procedures and policies to ensure compliance with CSWF qualification requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
