This is a Direct Hire Position for our client who is in the speciality chemicals business and your territory would range from Bowling Green KY up to Louisville, KY.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and nurture long-term relationships with existing clients through proactive communication and personalized service
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to maximize account potential
  • Lead negotiations to secure favorable terms while ensuring client satisfaction
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, sales, and technical support to deliver comprehensive solutions
  • Conduct regular analysis of account performance metrics and client feedback to inform strategic decisions
  • Engage in warm calling campaigns to generate new leads and expand the client base
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact through contract signing and onboarding
  • Utilize CRM tools like Salesforce to track interactions, update account information, and forecast sales opportunities
  • Provide insights into market trends and client needs to inform product development and marketing strategies
  • Represent the company professionally at industry events, conferences, and client meetings

Experience and Education

  • Proven experience in B2B sales of 3-5 years, account management, or business development within a technology or professional services environment
  • Demonstrated success in negotiating complex deals and closing high-value contracts
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles and how they relate to customer engagement
  • Bachelor's Degee in Business, Marketing, Chemistry or other related science field.
  • Familiarity with technology sales processes and technical sales environments
  • Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM platforms for managing client relationships
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly
  • Analytical skills to assess account performance data and market insights effectively
  • Valid Driver's License
