Job Description

POSITIONS AVAILABLE THROUGHOUT NEBRASKA

General traffic control and flagging activities related to road construction. Starting wages are $15.00/hour.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to;

• Performs traffic control and flagging activities as needed
• Follows safety rules and regulations on all work zone and flagging sites
• Occasionally placing signs, barricades, traffic cones and other warning devices
• Operates company-owned vehicles (not requiring a Commercial Driver’s License)
• Reports safety hazards and traffic problems
• May be asked to do some manual labor

Qualifications:

• Must have a valid Driver’s License (if driving a company owned vehicle)
• Must be able to work outdoors with possible exposure to inclement weather
• Must be able to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds
• Experience is not necessary
• Must be willing to travel
• Werner Construction will provide Flagger Training
