HVAC Technician - Full-time

JTS Modular, Inc. provides industry leading construction services that allow us to deliver a permanent modular design concept that effectively advances California public works projects. In addition to the number of industries we support, JTS Modular is proud to maintain a dynamic focus in serving major California school districts in their efforts to build safe and secure campuses for California's youth. The HVAC Technician is responsible for installing new heating and air conditioning systems for JTS Modular, Inc. construction projects.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum one (1) Year hands-on, related experience performing commercial HVAC work
• Passage of physical and drug screen
• Must competently follow verbal and written instructions and strictly adhere to safety protocol
• Ability to organize and maintain an organized system of customary job duties
• Must be able to work semi-independently

General Physical Requirements

• Sitting, standing, walking, jogging, leaping, running on uneven ground, stairs, or elevated structures
• May climb, balance, stoop, stretch, kneel, crouch, crawl
• Physically lifting to fifty (50) pounds
• Hand dexterity to use tools, type, or hand-write
• Reaches with hands or arms and performs movements such as pulling, pushing, hammering
• Ability to speak verbally and raise voice when necessary
• Must have the ability to hear
• Must have adequate vision to see
• Ability to work inside a building or structure
• Ability to work outside in different types of weather to include wet conditions such as ice, rain, sleet, heat, direct sun exposure, and in rare cases, snow.
• Ability to work long hours associated with construction deadlines.

Salary $17.00 - $28.00 hourly. DOE and certifications
