Merchandiser II - Part-time

Position Summary:

The Merchandiser II is a customer service position engaged primarily in meeting customer needs in a retail store. Stocks merchandise per established guidelines as outlined in the Retail Operations Standard Operating Procedures manual (ROSOP). Provides exemplary customer service to retail operations stakeholders.  Serves as a role model for all employees, promoting teamwork and exemplary customer service.

Supervision Received:

Works under the direct supervision of store management staff to include Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager and Shift Supervisors.

Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, & Skills):

• Reads and writes at a minimum of a sixth grade level.
• No experience required
• Capable of making simple discretionary decisions.

Physical / Mental Demands:

Light to medium lifting (up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally), pushing, pulling, standing, fingering, bending and color vision.

Working Conditions/Environment:

Retail sales floor and stockroom, indoors. May work outdoors in various weather conditions to accept donations.

Part-time is defined as 20-28 hours per week.   We pay bi-weekly and the rate of pay is $11.00 per hour.
