Electrical Apprentice

Axcess Industries is proud to offer a four-year, PA State Certified electrical apprenticeship program. Apprentices are employed full-time, take online classes, and participate in on the job training. Tuition reimbursement is given upon successful completion of yearly initiatives.
Pre-employment Qualifications and Special Considerations
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation
- Live within daily driving distance of our headquarters in Fleetwood, PA
- Willing to travel to job sites throughout the area
- Previous experience in the electrical field, or graduate of a trade school with electrical training
- We are a drug-free workplace. Applicants must pass a pre-employment drug test.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Take direction from supervisor and senior electricians to learn the electrical trade
- Install electrical wiring, equipment or fixtures as per job specifications and local codes
- Place conduit and cabling inside designated partitions and walls
- Pull wires through conduits to complete circuits between boxes
- Install switches, outlets, disconnects, and circuit-breaker panels
- Repair or replace wiring, equipment or fixtures using hand and power tools
- Follow all safety guidelines set by OSHA, Axcess Industries and the client
- Clean work areas, machines, and equipment to maintain a clean and safe job site
Requirements
- A willingness to learn the skills and qualifications of the electrical trade/code
- Work as part of a team under the direction of the Foreman
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Job Type: Full-time, hourly
Compensation: $14-$15, hourly
