OBGYN Physician Job Details

• Patient Volume: 10–15 OB triages per day plus deliveries

OBGYN Physician Qualifications

• Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN required)
• Active Illinois medical license or active IMLC LOQ (required for Illinois healthcare jobs)
• Minimum 1 year of experience as an OBGYN physician
• Clean malpractice/background preferred (case-by-case review)
• Ability to provide a recent Self-Query NPDB at time of presentation

OBGYN Physician Responsibilities

• Deliver 24-hour in-house call coverage on the labor and delivery floor
• Manage obstetric patients, including triage, deliveries, and emergency gynecologic cases
• Perform vaginal deliveries, Cesarean sections (C-sections), and circumcisions as needed
• Conduct inpatient consultations and collaborate with hospital staff and clinical support teams
• Ensure all OB triages are seen promptly and provide high-quality patient care
